Milling and Mixing
The PSI LAB air jet mill is a compact and advanced research and development model designed by EMCO Engineering. It serves dual purposes: supporting R&D activities and acting as a qualifying model for larger-scale production mills. With the integration of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), the PSI LAB model delivers exceptional milling performance and achieves a very narrow particle size distribution (PSD).
Milling and Mixing
The PSI Series Air Jet Mill from EMCO Engineering Pvt Ltd is a cutting-edge solution for ultra-fine particle size reduction using compressed air. This advanced milling system is widely used in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food processing, and cosmetics industries, offering precision milling for materials sensitive to heat, prone to melting, or requiring contamination-free processing. The PSI Series includes models such as PSI-2, PSI-4, PSI-6, PSI-8, and PSI-12, designed to cater to varying requirements from research and development to industrial-scale production. These models deliver reliable performance, easy cleaning, and compliance with FDA and international standards.
The vacuum tray dryer (VTD) is specially designed for drying heat-sensitive materials that are easily decomposed, polymerized, or deteriorated at higher temperatures. The machine also supports sterilization before the drying process, ensuring that no contaminants enter the product. With a static vacuum drying mechanism, the VTD prevents any damage to the structure of the drying materials. This makes it widely applicable in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food processing. It is a box-shaped batch dryer, loaded and unloaded via a door (larger models feature two doors for better accessibility). Vacuum tray dryers are ideal for drying high-grade, temperature-sensitive, and oxygen-sensitive products. They are particularly suited for drying hygroscopic substances that need to be dried to very low moisture content and are also effective for lumpy, glutinous, or low-porosity products.
