How does it work?
The GPX1500 Film Food uses Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) to perform fast, accurate and non-destructive headspace gas analysis (HSA) in transparent food packaging.
During measurement, the package is placed on the sensor head, which gently creates a vacuum on the film surface to form a temporary bubble. A laser beam passes through this bubble to analyse the internal gas content, either oxygen or carbon dioxide, without damaging the package. The tested product can be returned to the production line or stored for later verification, supporting continuous and sustainable quality control.
