AATCC 183 ULTRAVIOLET TRANSMITTANCE TESTER- DARONG

Origin: China

This instrument measures how effectively a fabric can block harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiations of the sun. This test is often used for fabrics where UV protection is necessary for human health. This is usually measured by textiles’ Ultraviolet Protection Coefficient/Factor (UPF). Sports clothing, Outdoor gear, and Umbrellas need UV testing because of their direct exposure to sunlight, which can cause color fade, skin damage, and other health issues. This tester measures both UVA and UVB-type rays. A fabric with a higher UPF value is considered good for protection.

MODEL: YG(B)912S

This Ultraviolet Transmittance Tester tests textiles’ ultraviolet transmittance (UVA, UVB) and ultraviolet protection coefficient (UPF).

STANDARD

  • GB/T 18830

  • AATCC 183

  • AS/NZS 4399

  • BS 7914

  • EN 13758

  • v.v.

FEATURES

  • Solar Shield Assessment: This UV tester has a Hamamatsu flicker Xenon lamp for measuring wide-range wavelength scanning. It is also capable of measuring fluorescent samples.
  • Wavelength Test Range: This UV tester measures UV wavelengths between 280 and 400nm. It ensures the precise measurement of fabric’s UPF, which measures how much UV rays can be blocked, transmitted, and absorbed by fabric.
  • Compatibility: This UV tester is compatible with AATCC, BS, EN, AS, and GB/T standards. This worldwide compatibility makes it results accurate and reproducible.
  • Automation: This fabric UPF tester offers easy automation through automatic data processing abilities, including graphs, charts, analysis, and test reports.
