Description
The Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter is a precision instrument used to measure the calorific value of substances during combustion. It is widely applied in the fields of energy, food, chemistry, and environmental research. The device determines the heat value of a sample by measuring the heat released when it undergoes complete combustion in a high-pressure oxygen environment.
Sample Requirements
The sample must be dry and free of volatile substances, suitable for standard oxygen combustion experiments.
The sample weight should be controlled between 0.5 to 1 gram, with a calorific value ≤ 34,000 J.
Precautions
Ensure that the oxygen bomb calorimeter operates within a safe pressure range to avoid overpressure operation.
Before conducting the experiment, check the equipment for oxygen leaks or any signs of damage.
After use, make sure all components are thoroughly cleaned to prevent contamination and operational failures.
